SC Garner of East Flat Rock North Carolina. Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Joy Baptist Church by the Reverend Fred Murray and the Reverend Frank Inman. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ned, Walter, Ervin and Fred Garner, Brunner Summer and Jack Latham. The following are asked to assemble at the church Sunday at 2:45 p.m. to form the honorary escort: Deacons of Mt. Joy Baptist Church, Dr. Kent Switzer, Charlie Eaves, Harold Fowler, Willie Alman, Mack Palmer, Clyde Gault and Veston Wix. The body will remain at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home and be placed in the church Sunday at 2:00 P.M The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 until 9. The family is at the home of M.V. Garner, Rt. 4, Union, South Carolina.
