Valley; Mary (Grap) Beaman of Harlan and Charles (Grap) Kemmish of Crescent. She was baptized in the Christian Faith and a confirmed member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Persia. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Charles Otto Grap; one son, Norman; one grandchild; one great-grandchild and two sisters, Elnora Sorenson and Pearle McHenry. Survivors include three sisters, Opal Bamford of Woodbine; Donna Tompkins and Vera Smith of Washington State; 22 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services were Aug. 23, 1987 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Persia with Pastor Clemons Hartfield of Co. Bluffs, officiating. Burial was in the Valley View cemetery at Persia with Rodney Grap, Michael Grap, Matthew Powell, Eugene Bintz, David Bintz and Jeffrey Bintz servings as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers were Dalyn Grap, Charles Matthews, Mark Matthews, Roger Grap, Douglas Matthews and John Bintz. Schumacher funeral Home in Logan was in charge of arrangements.
