Services were held at St. John Lutheran Churchm Cushing, with Rev. Douglas Opp officiating. Burial was in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Midway, under direction of Barker Funeral Home of Holstein. She graduated from the Schleswig High School and then attended Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois. On April 27, 1931, she married Martin "Mike" Henrichsen in New Ulm, Minnesota. For many years she was a school cook in the Cushing Community School. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 59 years, serving one year as the county president. Survivors include one son and his wife, Richard and Joyce of Hayward, California; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded by her husband, one sister, Josephine Jorgenson, one stepson, Arnold Henrichsen, one stepsister, Vivia Doerr, three brothers and four sisters.
