Her aged death was 73 years 2 months and 15 days. She was born Viola Nash, daughter of Eli and Rhoda (Hunter) Nash, June 17, 1896, at Oshkosh. She grew to womanhood and spent her entire life in Garden county. May one, 1919, she united in marriage to John Wesley (Wes) Orr at Oshkosh. Read More	Garden County News (Oshkosh, Nebraska) - 4 Sep 1969, p 1 Mrs. Wes Orr of Lewellen died Thursday [August 28, 1969] at the Garden County hospital in Oshkosh after a lingering illness. Her aged death was 73 years 2 months and 15 days. She was born Viola Nash, daughter of Eli and Rhoda (Hunter) Nash, June 17, 1896, at Oshkosh. She grew to womanhood and spent her entire life in Garden county. May one, 1919, she united in marriage to John Wesley (Wes) Orr at Oshkosh. They ranch near Lewellen until he died March 3 of this year. Mrs. Laura has been in poor health for several months and has spent much time in hospitals in Denver and Oshkosh. Survivors include her son Rollie Orr, Lewellen; four grandchildren, James Orr in the Seabees, John and Jack Orr, at home and Mrs. John S???dahl of Harrison; six sisters, Mrs. Mamie Campbell of Oshkosh, Mrs. Mabel Copley and Mrs. Hazel Johnson, both of Lewellen, Mrs. Mattie McConkey of Ontario, Oregon, Mrs. Bertha Rick of Nampa, Idaho, and Mrs. Lucille Melius of Homedale, Idaho; three brothers, Waldo Nash of Agate, Colorado, Howard Nash of Fallon, Nevada, and Herbert Nash of Seiling, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were Sunday afternoon in the Holecheck funeral home in Oshkosh with Rev. Warren Churchill officiating. Music was by Dennis Hudson at the organ. Pallbearers were Max Garton, Dale Grace, Marvin Grace, Paul D. Temple, Gilbert Christensen and Asa Queen. Interment was in the family plot in Ash Hollow cemetery at Lewellen with Holechek Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
