She was born Oct. 24, 1924, at Everett, Wash., to Carl and Olga Mae (Knutson) Hedberg. She grew up and attended school in Everett. She was a nurse's aide in Everett. She married Emmett J. Bush Aug. 22, 1943, in Everett. After her husband was discharged from military service, they moved to Sully County west of Onida, where they farmed and later built and developed Sunset Lodge. The couple also raised many foster children while living in Sully County. In 1974 they moved to Sturgis where they supervised a veterans living care home. She was a member of the Okobojo Women's Club west of Onida and the Holy Rosary Church at Agar and the church altar society. Survivors include her husband; one son; one daughter; two foster daughters; seven grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
