She passed away on October 21, 2000 at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 10 days. She was one of eight children in the family. She passed away on October 21, 2000 at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 10 days. She was one of eight children in the family. Lorraine and her family moved to Greeley in 1928, where she attended Greeley Public School. After high school, she worked at Snell's Cafe and dry good store until World War II ended in 1945. She met and later married Antone Eynetich of Spaulding on June 24, 1946, at Sacred Heart Church in Greeley, Nebraska. They set up housekeeping in Spaulding, where their first daughter Victoria Marie was born. In 1952, they moved to a farm south of Greeley, where their second daughter, Cheryl Jean was born a year later. In 1957, the family moved to their first modern farmhouse south of Grafton. Lorraine worked at Baumann's Cafe, M & M Farm Supply, Geneva Tomatoes and Heritage Nursing Home. Her quick wit and easy, hardworking manner endeared her to all she met and worked with. they retired in 1982 and moved to a home in Grafton. Lorraine enjoyed her flowers, both inside the home and out. She also enjoyed doing crafts. Most dear to her was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson. She believed in treating each one with fairness and always was interested in all that they were involved in. In her retirement years, she most enjoyed working among the flowers at Village Green and playing cards at Grafton's Mini Mart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Addison and Eva Crumrine; brothers, Jack Dean and Max Crumrine; sisters, Gertrude Schoonover and Orvetta Schamp; two nieces, Karen Breubaker and Sandy Cook; two nephews, James Ron Todd and Charles Schamp. She is survived by her husband, Antone of Grafton; daughters, Vicky and husband, Daryl Strothkamp; Cheryl and husband, Kent Myers; grandchildren, Jenny and husband, Roger Glenn, Courtney and husband, Marc Gewecke, Adam Myers and Aaron Strothkamp; Amy Rea and husband, Craig; Meghan and Rachel Strothkamp; Emily Scheldt and husband, Kyle; and by one great-grandson, Tyler Glenn of Geneva. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2000, from the St. Helena's Catholic church in Grafton with Father Mark Pfeiffer officiating. Mary Ann Najmon accompanied the congregational singing of "Here I am Lord," "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art." Casket bearers were Daryl Strothkamp, Kent Myers, Jim Baumann, Arvin C. Wood, Laverne Klipp and Theophil Huber. Honorary bearers were Adam Myers, Aaron Strothkamp, Roger Glenn, Craig Rea, Kyle Scheldt and Mark Gewecke.
