Violet was born May 21, 1912 in Defiance County, Ohio, the daughter of Ora and Pearl (Nicely) Bleeks. On September 6, 1933, she married Everett Stevens, and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1986. Violet was born May 21, 1912 in Defiance County, Ohio, the daughter of Ora and Pearl (Nicely) Bleeks. On September 6, 1933, she married Everett Stevens, and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1986. Violet was a L.P.N. at the former Heller Memorial Hospital of Napoleon and the Henry County Hospital, retiring in 1991 after 31 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Ladies of Elks Lodge 929 both of Napoleon, Ohio. Surviving are two sons, Gene (Elaine) Stevens, Findlay, Ohio; Ron (Sue) Stevens, Archbold, Ohio; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and one sister, D'Nelle Beckler, Van Wert, Ohio. She was preceded in death also by three brothers, William, Robert and Melvin Bleeks; four sisters, Leola Ebersole, Helen Kimberly, Bertha Coriell and Bernice Myers. Services will be held on Monday, 10:30 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, Napoleon, the Rev. Gavin Pitt officiating. Interment will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery, Napoleon.
