Description	:	Services for Virgil L. Good will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 at the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Dola. Burial with military rights will follow at Dola Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday, April 6th, 2015 at Price Funeral Home in Kenton and one hour prior to services at the church. He died at 9:45 P.M. He was born in Dunkirk on February 22nd, 1925 to the late Edwin and Marguerite (Dirmeyer) Good. On December 14th, 1944 he married his wife of 70 years, Violet Casper and she survives. Also surviving are 6 children, Linda (Dave) Kahler of Sunbury; Connie (Wayne) Thomas of Bowling Green; Judy (Dave) Worstein of Kansas, Ohio; Arden (Becky) Good of Dola; Max (Jean) Good of Lewis Center; and Jill (Wayne) Neal of Pandora. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 25 great Grandchildren, 2 brothers, Eugene (Betty Lou) Good; Neil (Patty) Good and a sister Patricia (Good) Battles. He is preceded in death by a brother Gordon Good and a brother in law James Battles. Virgil was a farmer by trade but was also involved in many things, he was a township trustee for 24 years, a Gideon for 29 years and a lifetime member of the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Dola. He also volunteered at the Hardin County fair at the Hardin Northern Band Boosters Booth for 30 years. Virgil also served in the United States Army during WWII, being stationed in Japan and the Philippines. Online condolences may be expressed at pricefh.net. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church or to Gideon's International Society.
