Description	:	Virgil Musch, 80, died Thursday, September 2, 2021, suddenly from an apparent heart attack, at his Lennox, SD, home. Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 8 at First English Lutheran Church, Lennox. Visitation, also at First English, with the family present, will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Virg was born June 2, 1941 on the family farm, north of Lennox. Virg and his only brother, Elroy, attended country school and after 8 years he attended and graduated from Lennox High School in 1959. He was an active athlete throughout high school. Virg was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan and attended a number of games in Minneapolis with his family. Virg married his high school sweetheart, Carole Anderson on February 4th, 1961, and celebrated with their children 60 years of marriage in February of this year. A big celebration was also celebrated in June for Virg's 80th birthday. Virg was in the grocery store business and was the owner of four grocery stores before retiring in 2007. Virg's grit and perseverance led him to much success in his love for his community. His legacy will live on in all the projects that he was a part of and in the hearts and minds of the many people whose lives he touched. It was with Carole,Greg (Cathy), Susan (Kevin) and Mike (Kim) that he shared his love and from which he received his greatest love. Grandchildren: Ashley (Brett), Janelle (Ryan), Brittany Jo, McKenzie, Katie (David), Megan (Sam), Andrew (Amber), Kelsey (Kyle), Nickolas, Abby and 11 great grandchildren. There is an ending to everything except our love for you. Our family thanks you for your love and support you have shown us since losing Virg. You all had a connection with Virg that has been displayed by your presence. Virg loved his community, his friends, his love for his church and the Lord. We are blessed to have had him in our lives.
