Virginia grew up in Walnut, Iowa where she attended grade school and graduated from Walnut High School in 1962. As a young girl, Virginia was active in the Rainbow girls. Virginia married Thomas Bock on April 3, 1965 at the First Presbyterian Church in Walnut, Iowa. To this union, three children were born, James, Christina and Matthew. Read More	Virginia Ann (Tooley) Bock was born on August 8, 1945 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Virginia grew up in Walnut, Iowa where she attended grade school and graduated from Walnut High School in 1962. As a young girl, Virginia was active in the Rainbow girls. Virginia married Thomas Bock on April 3, 1965 at the First Presbyterian Church in Walnut, Iowa. To this union, three children were born, James, Christina and Matthew. Virginia and Thomas raised their family in Millard and in Elkhorn. Virginia worked at Mutual of Omaha and Badger Body before returning to school. Virginia furthered her education by receiving her degree from Bellevue University in Psychology and Sociology and later became a Registered Nurse, studying at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Virginia worked professionally at UNMC, Clarkson Hospital and Valhaven Nursing Home. Virginia enjoyed traveling, attending plays (especially Les Miserable), collecting dolls and baskets and Nebraska football. Virginia loved to be with people and was very proud to see Matthew graduate. Virginia passed away on January 4, 2002 at her home in Elkhorn at the age of 56 years, 4 months and 27 days. She was preceded in death by her mother Clara Mae Tooley. Virginia is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law James and Charlie of Wichita, Kansas and Matthew of Elkhorn, Nebraska; daughter and son-in-law Christina and Brian Giles of Omaha, Nebraska; 3 grandchildren; father Gordon Tooley of Walnut, Iowa; brother James Tooley of Walnut, Iowa; sister Debby Marsh of Omaha, Nebraska.
