Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Clarice Blackburn Gray, 74, OF 1625 Bonnette Road, Cope will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 13, 2004 at Two Mile Swamp Baptist Church, Cope with the Rev. Chuck Wells officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be John W. Carrigg Jr., John W. Carrigg Sr., Wallace O. Carrigg, Richard B. Pipkins, Robert L. She was born October 31, 1929 in Warrenton, Ga. She was the daughter of the late J. W. Blackburn and the late Bertha Dennis Blackburn. She was a member of Two Mile Swamp Baptist Church and was retired from Belks. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda G. Weathers of Orangeburg. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Onie Gray of Cope; one daughter, Bonnie G. Roper and son-in-law, Dennis Roper, both of Cowpens; one son and daughter-in-law, William 'Bill' Franklin Gray and Lynn B. Gray of Cope; five grandchildren, William (Frankie) Franklin Gray Jr. of Orangeburg, Holly Barton of Branchville, Beau Walters of Little Rock, Ark., Jerry McCue, and Heather Claire; six great-grandchildren, Taylor Gray, Trey Gray, Alan Barton, Amanda Barton, Randall Barton, and Kaitlyn Barton. Friends may call at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
