Read More	Virginia Mae (Mesenbrink) Boeck (1921 - 1990) Virginia Mae Boeck was born in Denison, Ia., Oct. 20, 1921, the daughter of Ben and Mildred Brady Mesenbrink. She was raised in Denison and educated at the local school. Following her schooling and previous to her marriage, she was employed at Huebner-Johnson Funeral Home in Denison. Virginia was married to Robert Edwin Boeck on Sept. 10, 1940, in Le Mars. Virginia and Bob moved to a farm southeast of Denison, where they raised five children and resided until the time of her death on Mar. 19, 1990, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison after a long illness. At the time of her death, Virginia was 68 years, four months and 27 days. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and one sister: Russell Mesenbrink, Benjamin Mesenbrink, Don Mesenbrink and Janae Mesenbrink Meyer. She is survived by her husband, Robert and five children: Donna Taylor and her husband, Robert of Omaha, David Boeck and his wife, Charlotte of Manilla, Charles Boeck and his wife, Joan of rural Denison, Ross Boeck of Manilla, Robert H. Boeck and his wife, Pamela of rural Denison; four grandsons: Jim Conway, Ryan, Matthew and Christopher Boeck; nine granddaughters: Lynne Edington, Sharon Conway, Denise, Carissa, Linette, Cary, Jennifer, Nikitta and Natasha Boeck; also three great-granddaughters; one brother, Jarvis Mesenbrink of Dike; many nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Denison, with Pastor Kurt Kaiser officiating. Interment was in the Crawford Heights Memory Gardens at Denison. Music was a solo, "How Great Thou Art" by Carissa Boeck; a duet, "The Lord's My Shepherd" by Carissa Boeck and Michelle Nelson with Marian Joens as the accompanist. Mrs. Karen Kahl was organist for the congregational hymn, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives." Serving as pallbearers were Gaylord Boeck, Ryan Boeck, Jim Conway, Bill Edington, Stan Kracht and Ben Meyer. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Walter A. Huebner and Sons' Funeral Service in Denison.
