She was a member of the... Read More	Vivian J. Meyer, 89, of Big Rock, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020, in her home in Big Rock. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Big Rock Cemetery, Big Rock, Iowa. Vivian Jane Kokemuller was born December 4, 1930, in Baldwin, the daughter of Charles and Edna (Downer) Kokemuller. She married Merlyn Lee Meyer on October 15, 1949, in Davenport. Merlyn preceded her in death on March 11, 1987. She was employed with J. I. Case as an inspector for 20 years. She was a member of the Dixon Legion Auxiliary for over 50 years. She was a great bowler, an avid race fan, enjoyed cards, ballroom dancing and going to the Iowa State fair with her daughters. Above all, she loved the time she spent with her family. Surviving are two daughters, Karen (Phil) Eichhorn of Wheatland and Kathy (Donny) Borchers of Dixon; two sons, Kirk Meyer and Kelly (Becky) Meyer, both of Big Rock; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia Struck of West Liberty. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters and four brothers. Chapman Funeral Homes
