Vivian was born on Feb. 17, 1916, at Burwell, NE., the daughter of Charles F. and Katie M. (Pimpara) Mitchell. Vivian is survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Alyce Wagner of Wolbach, NE.; daughters, Donetta Domina of DeKalb, IL. and Joyce Baldwin of Bennington, NE.; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Wagner, of Wolbach, NE., died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at the Heritage Living Center, St. Paul, NE. Vivian was born on Feb. 17, 1916, at Burwell, NE., the daughter of Charles F. and Katie M. (Pimpara) Mitchell. Vivian is survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Alyce Wagner of Wolbach, NE.; daughters, Donetta Domina of DeKalb, IL. and Joyce Baldwin of Bennington, NE.; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. As a young child, Vivian moved with her family to the Elba, NE., area where she grew up and attended country schools and graduated from Elba (NE.) High School in 1935. She then attended The University of Nebraska at Kearney and taught school southeast of Wolbach, NE. Vivian was united in marriage to Harold Lee Wagner on May 19, 1937, at Grand Island, NE. The couple farmed 4 miles southwest of Wolbach, NE. Harold died on March 15, 1990 and she later moved into Wolbach, NE. where she lived until June 2009, when she moved to the Heritage Living Center, St. Paul, NE. where she lived the rest of her life. Vivian was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Women of the ELCA, Pins and Pans Extension Club and the Wolbach Historical Society. Vivian enjoyed writing poetry, her big garden, flowers, crafts, traveling, dancing with Harold, and working in the community and church. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Harold Lee Wagner; she was preceded in death by her parents; sons-in-law, Lyle Domina and Gene Baldwin; infant grandson, Lance Baldwin; brothers, Lester and Ivan Mitchell; and sisters, Evelyn Svoboda, Anna Ogard and Cathryn Schachta. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery, Wolbach, NE. Published in The Grand Island Independent on April 13, 2013
