Burgess, at 395 Eighth avenue, following a brief illness. He was 27 years of age and has been employed at the Milwaukee roadhouse. The family moved to the city from Palo and have lived here about a year. Besides the parents, four sisters and eight brothers survive, two of these being in the army. The funeral services, which will be private, will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with the Rev. A.H. Hanscom officiating, and interment will be in Morrison cemetery.
