Funeral services will be held in the home at 2 o'clock. Balsley had been visiting in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Kuehne, near Osage and started home before the remainder of the family, expecting to be picked up by the when they caught up with him down the road. Upon seeing the family car approaching he stepped across the road to get in but in doing so walked directly into the path of the car driven by Dieterich. Mr. Balsley was struck down to approximately the same spot about 18 months ago by an automobile from which he had never fully recovered. In the accident yesterday, Mr. Balsley received a broken nose, several broken ribs and is believed to have suffered some internal injuries. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Robert Kuehne, another daughter, Mrs. Mary Opperman, and his wife.
