| Description | : | Wallace William Higdon, who celebrated 67 years of marriage with his wife Lulu in August, died Sept. 18 in Vancouver. He was 85. Mr. Higdon was born March 12, 1906, in Manor, Washington. He worked as a mechanic and bus driver for the Battle Ground schools from 1930 to 1942 before moving to Port Orchards. In 1949 he moved to Port Townsend and operated a chain-saw shop until he retired.
