Description	:	Walter C. Hochstetler, 97, Horton, died Saturday at a Marysville, Kansas Hospital. Mr. Hochstetler was a native of Fairview, was born here September 28, 1885, was the son of Henry and Mary Reinhardt Hochstetler. He was a farmer in this area for many years before moving to Horton where he worked as a construction worker. He was a member of the United Church of Christ, Hiawatha. He was first married to Clara Sears. They were the parents of five sons. She passed away in 1951. He later married Josie. She survives. Mr. Hochstetler was a native of Fairview, was born here September 28, 1885, was the son of Henry and Mary Reinhardt Hochstetler. Other survivors include three sons, William Hochstetler and Donald Hochstetler, both of St. Joseph, Mo., and Ivan Hochstetler, Horton, a stepdaughter Mrs. Margaret Belo, Home City; 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Samuel and Lloyd. Funeral services were Tuesday, February 8, 1983 at Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton and burial was in Isely Cemetery near Fairview. ---Fairview Enterprise, Thu., Feb. 10, 1983
