W. Glenn Crumm, 67, of 416 Ridge Ave., was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:30 p.m. by Deputy Coroner Louis N. SolIon. Authorities said he had suffered head and chest injuries. According to police, Crumm had driven the front wheels of the auto onto wooden blocks and was working underneath the vehicle when it fell or drifted off the blocks, crushing him. Mrs. Crumm, who had been away from home during the afternoon, discovered her husband's body beneath the car. Authorities said Crumm had been dead two or three hours. Mr. Crumm was born Sept. 19, 1896, in Canonsburg, a son of Glenn Alexander Crumm and Mary Elizabeth Dickson Crumm. He was a lifetime resident of the Canonsburg area. He was employed as electrical superintendent for Allegheny Industrial Electric Co., Pittsburgh from 1936 until his retirement in August, 1962. He was a member of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church and IBEW Local No. 5, Pittsburgh. He was married Jan. 1, 1918, to Ida Dittrich, who died Oct. 27, 1959. He was married Aug. 5, 1961, to Thelma Guthrie, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Florence, wife of Millard Wolfgang, Houston, Tex.; four sons, Glenn A., Washington; Robert E., Mt. Vernon, Ohio; Walter H., Fitchburg, Mass., and Jack L., Maundsville, W. Va.; three stepchildren, Ronald F. Guthrie, Mrs. George M. Dille and Mrs. Lee E.
