Description	:	Married Ethel M Malstead August 18 1914 at Belleville, Kansas James Walter Craig, son of Clinton and Emma Craig, was born at Wymore, Nebraska, May 16, 1890, and departed this life February 20, 1952, at the age of 61 years, 9 months, and 4 days, at the Belleville Hospital after a brief illness of 3 weeks. He grew to manhood in Rose Creek township in Republic County, Kansas. He enlisted in the National Guard in Gage County, Nebraska, in 1913, and served 3 years. Read More	Married Ethel M Malstead August 18 1914 at Belleville, Kansas James Walter Craig, son of Clinton and Emma Craig, was born at Wymore, Nebraska, May 16, 1890, and departed this life February 20, 1952, at the age of 61 years, 9 months, and 4 days, at the Belleville Hospital after a brief illness of 3 weeks. He was married to Ethel Molstead on August 18, 1914, at Belleville, Kansas. To this union three children were born: Mrs. Velma Bowman, of Munden, Mrs. Verna Stark of Mrysville, and Dale Craig of Hanover, Kansas. He is survived by his wife, three children, two grandchildren, two sisters: Mrs. Rena Ratliff of Winnfield, La., Mrs. William Ellings of Lenora, Ks.; four brothers: Mrs. Frank Craig of Dousman, Wisc., Mr. Harry Craig, Salt Lake City, Utah, Mr. Alen Craig of Glade, Kansas and Mr. Ernest Craig of Booneville, Mo. and several nieces and nephews. The community was saddened by his death. He was of happy and cheerful disposition and alwyas (sic) mindful of his family and friends. Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist Church at Munden, Kans., on February 23. Rev. James Irwin was the minister in charge. Special music was furnished by a male quartet. Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Home was in charge. Burial was at the Ida cemetery (sic).
