Description	:	Funeral services for Walter Klaver, 91, longtime Kamrar resident, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Community church in Kamrar with Rev. Marvin L. Camp officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Klaver died Wednesday morning at the Trinity Regional hospital in Fort Dodge where he had been a patient the past week. He had been ill the past 3 years. Walter Klaver, son of Philip and Ricksta Ubben Klaver, was born March 1, 1892, on a farm south of Kamrar. He was reared and educated in the Kamrar community. He was united in marriage Nov. 27, 1916 to Nettie Frauka Arends, and the couple farmed in the Kamrar community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jan. 20, 1980. He made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Stoffer Gelder, in Kamrar, and for the past year had resided at Southfield Care Center. He is survived by the one daughter, Mrs. Stoffer (Vianna) Gelder; three grandchildren, Arlon Gelder of Columbia, Mo., Keith Gelder of Jewell and Mrs. Lanny (Bonnie) Staples of Ellsworth; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, George P. Klaver of Jewell, Philip Klaver of Webster City, Bina Trampel of Webster City and Elsie Klaver of Kamrar; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Chester Ardean Klaver, who died in infancy; a grandson; his parents; and two brothers and one sister, Joe P. Klaver, Ben P. Klaver and Mrs. Grace Barkema. He was a member of the Kamrar Community church.
