Read More	Wanda Clorene Schultz, daughter of Alfred Labounty and Aletha Golda (Morehead) Gharring, was born on a farm near Nelson in Nuckolls County, Nebraska, on February 26, 1921, and passed away while a patient in Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Saturday, November 11, 1995, at the age of 74 years, eight months and 15 days. She attended Pleasant View District Country School north of Nelson and graduated from Nelson High School in 1939. Wanda was baptized in the United Brethren Church north of Nelson and was a member of the Presbyterian Church, now the Nelson Community United Church of Christ, at the time of her death. May 25, 1939, in Nelson, Wanda was married to Gerald Henry Schultz. To this union was born three children, Carolyn, Marilyn and Gerry. Wanda worked in cafes as a waitress for many years and had acquired many friends. She was a past member of Nelson American Legion Auxiliary and Rebekah Lodge. She enjoyed crocheting, needle point, gardening and working in her yard. One of her favorite pastimes was playing Yahtzee. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband and a son-in-law, Gordon Adamson. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Drohman and her husband Jerry of Nelson, Nebraska, and Marilyn Carlson and her husband Bill of Lincoln, Nebraska; one son, Gerry and his wife Carolyn of Rock Springs, Wyoming; seven grandchildren, Sonja Mazour and her husband Mick, Alesia Zentay and her husband Agustin, Crystal DeJesus and her husband Christopher, Kirby Adamson, Angela Churray and her husband Jim and Michael and Michelle Schultz; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Ivan Gharring and his wife Verleen of Nelson, Nebraska; an aunt, niece, nephew, cousins and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 14, 1995, at 2 p.m. from Nelson Community United Church of Christ with Rev. James Taylor officiating. Music was provided by Alfred and Janell Hanson singing "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" and "In The Garden" with Carlita Price as organist and accompanist. Casketbearers were Jerry Bargen, Jim Kavanaugh, Gene Krabel, Brandon Lynch, Willie Ideen and Jim Harris. Honorary pallbearers were Mick Mazour, Christopher DeJesus, Jim Churray, Agustin Zentay, Kirby Adamson and Michael Schultz. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery.
