Description	:	Funeral services for Mr. Ward Cloud will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Beechwood United Pentecostal Church, Hineston, with Reverends Tom Murphy, James Brookes and Barry Aaron officiating. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mr. Cloud, 93, of Glenmora entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in his residence. Mr. Cloud served during WWII in the 383rd Infantry of the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharge with a purple heart with one oak leaf cluster. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mr. Cloud, 93, of Glenmora entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in his residence. Mr. Cloud served during WWII in the 383rd Infantry of the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharge with a purple heart with one oak leaf cluster. He also received an assortment of decorations and citations. He and his wife ran a dairy for thirty five years. After retirement they traveled the United States attending church faithfully. They took many camping and fishing trips and helped raise a slew of grandchildren. He was blessed to see five generations of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Oder Cloud; one daughter, Peggy Cloud; one grandson, Shannon Cloud and one son-in-law, Eddie Frank Serman. Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of sixty-nine years, Nona Cloud of Union Hill; two sons, Larry Cloud and his wife Kathleen of Union Hill, Robbie Cloud and his wife Mary Ann of Union Hill; one daughter, Faye Serman of Union Hill; one sister, Avie Richie of Alexandria; fourteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Pallbearers honored to serve are: Jeremy Cloud, Josh Cloud, Rusty Cloud, Levell Serman, Mark Serman, and Shawn Cloud. Honorary pallbearers are: Toi Ardoin, Terry Eaves and Steven Hess. Friends may call at Beechwood United Pentecostal Church, Hineston, on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. Published online by Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, Louisiana.
