Although he spent most of his adult life in Massachusetts, he maintained close ties to family and friends in Arkansas by owning and operating a small cattle ranch near Branch. addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Rodney R. McCollester of Rochester, Mass., Kevin W. McCollester of West Chester, Penn., and a daughter, Linda S. Habernal of Arvada, Colo., and nine grandchildren. A memorial service and celebration of his life was held on July 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Coles Chapel in Branch, Arkansas, with a luncheon that followed.
