Read More	Obituary from the Hogg Funeral Home & Crematory website & the Tributes.com website (see below), March 2010: Gloucester Point: Warren Harding Belvin, 89, died peacefully at his home, March 8, 2010 with loved ones at his side. He was born October 19, 1920 at Gloucester Point, Virginia to the late Oscar and Ruby Belvin. Warren was a faithful member of Bethany United Methodist Church, where he served on numerous committees. He was chairman of the Maintenance Committee, Trustee of the church, member of Men's Bible Class, member of the XYZ group and honorary member of the Administrative Board. Warren was retired from Jordan Marine after 43 years of service. After his retirement he enjoyed building model boats of the Oyster Buy boat that sailed the York and Chesapeake Bay. His latest boat was a model of the Cornwallis Ferry Boat, the first ferry that carried cars across the York River to Yorktown and back to Gloucester Point. Warren was a kind and gentle person and his memory will live on in everyone who was blessed to have known him. He was preceded in death by parents; two brothers, Robert Belvin and Oscar Belvin, Jr.; two sisters, Hattie Jenkins and Marion Dalton; two nieces Gloria Jenkins and Robin Pickett. He is survived by: His loving wife of 53 ½ years: Iva Belvin Sisters: Hazel Trevilian of Gloucester, VA Jennie Chapman of Norfolk, VA Reathia Williams and husband Floyd of Gloucester Point, VA Sisters-in-law: Carrie Belvin of Deltaville, VA Miriam Callis and husband Ernest, Jr. of Mathews, VA Jeneill Rowe of Hayes, VA Brother-in-law: Aubrey Thomas of Newport News, VA And a host of nieces and nephews Funeral services officiated by Reverend Stephen Young and Reverend Marion P. White will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Bethany United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A reception will follow in the Warren Belvin Fellowship Hall. The family will receive friends Wednesday 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. In memory of Warren memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, Maintenance Fund, P. O.
