Description	:	Warren Webster Malsbary, son of William and Martha Malsbary, was born December 10, 1864, in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he lived for two years. In 1866, he moved with his parents to Rantoul, Champaign county, Illinois. In 1890, he came to Fairmont, Nebraska to farm with his brother, Edwin. The following year he joined the Congregational church of Fairmont. Three years later he moved in with the Frank O. Bridgman family, and farmed the 160 acres across the road which he had purchased. Read More	Warren Webster Malsbary, son of William and Martha Malsbary, was born December 10, 1864, in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he lived for two years. In 1866, he moved with his parents to Rantoul, Champaign county, Illinois. In 1890, he came to Fairmont, Nebraska to farm with his brother, Edwin. The following year he joined the Congregational church of Fairmont. Three years later he moved in with the Frank O. Bridgman family, and farmed the 160 acres across the road which he had purchased. On June 25, 1901, he was married to Lucy Lefler, and moved into the new home on their farm. To this union were born three children, Velma, Helen and Wayne. His wife died in 1934, also his parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death. In March, 1946, he retired from the farm and moved into Fairmont, where he made his home with his daughters until his death, December 17, 1949, having lived 85 years and 7 days. In his death he leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Velma Malsbary and Mrs. Herman Brown of Fairmont; a son, Wayne Malsbary, and granddaughter, Judy of Temple, Texas; two brothers, Edwin L. Malsbary of Lincoln and Frank R. Malsbary of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Mercer of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Grace Latimer of Whittier, Cal.; many relatives and friends. Mr. Malsbary loved his family dearly. He was a good husband and a kind father. He was loved and respected by all who knew him for his quiet manner and loving disposition. Funeral services were held in the Fairmont Federated church last Wednesday afternoon, December 21, Rev. Willard F. Payne, the pastor, officiating. Miss Virginia Brown sang "The Lord's Prayer," "Beautiful Garden of Prayer" and "Goodnight Here But Good Morning Up There," with Mrs. Miriam Clark at the organ. Interment was in the Fairmont cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews of Mr. Malsbary. They were Lloyd, Ralph and Claude Lefler, and Dwight Lyman and Federal Bridgman. Those from out of town attending the funeral were Edwin L. Malsbary and Fay of Lincoln; Preston Stockard of Princeton, Kansas; Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Bridgman of Cedar Bluffs, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Bridgman and sons of Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Lefler and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Pinneo of York.
