Wayne was born March 20, 1938 in Rising City, Nebraska, the son of Fred and Hazel Ostrander. He graduated from Clarks High School with the class of 1955. Wayne married Patricia McLean in 1956. He was a Butcher at Central City Mall in Central City, Ne for 40+ years before retiring. Wayne was a volunteer fire fighter in Central City, NE and served on the Merrick County Foundation Board. He graduated from Clarks High School with the class of 1955. Wayne married Patricia McLean in 1956. He was a Butcher at Central City Mall in Central City, Ne for 40+ years before retiring. Wayne was a volunteer fire fighter in Central City, NE and served on the Merrick County Foundation Board. He enjoyed playing cards, Husker Sports, cooking and watching his grandchildren play sports and other extracurricular activities. Wayne is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Ostrander; sons and wives, Rex and Chris Ostrander, Dale and Linda Ostrander, Marc and Kelly Ostrander, and Rick and Linda Ostrander; daughters and husbands, Teri and Kevin Schuller, Jo and Scott Petersen, and Melodie Ostrander; grandchildren and spouses, Michelle and Matt Lay, Monica Ostrander, Gabriel Ostrander, Chelsea and Michael Sargeant, Kendra and Stephen Crane, Stacie Ostrander, Mikaela Ostrander, Dale Ostrander, Darek and Kesha Schuller, Brittany Schuller, Sarah Ostrander, Nicole Ostrander, and Zachary Ostrander; great grandchildren, Ethan Lay, Olivia Sargeant, Ayden Schuller, Ashten Schuller, and Kohen Schuller; brother and wife, Myron and Barb Ostrander; sister and husband, Judy and Joe Bohaboj; father-in-law, William McLean; brothers-in-law and wives, Julius Schmid, George and Becky McLean, and Spencer Peterson; sister-in-law and husband, Rosa and Gary Crook; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
