Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 19, today, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ida Grove. The Rev. Father Victor Kollasch of St. Martin's Church of Odebolt will officiate. Military graveside services will be held. Read More	Odebolt Chronicle Aug 19, 1976 Wayne Bauer Funeral Held Thursday Wayne Bauer, 60, of Arthur died at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove Sunday afternoon, August 15. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 19, today, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ida Grove. The Rev. Father Victor Kollasch of St. Martin's Church of Odebolt will officiate. Military graveside services will be held. The Knights of Columbus held a service at 8:30 Wednesday night in the East chapel. Mr. Bauer was a World II veteran, a member of Gonzaga Council of the Knights of Columbus of Odebolt, and farmed all of his life. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Donna and Jolene of Omaha; and Jerry and Darlene at home; one brother, Earl of Odebolt; three sisters, Mrs. Richard Goetzinger of Arion, Mrs. Harlan Wilcke of Ida Grove and Mrs.Henry Renze of Arthur; and father-in-law, Joe Siepker of Laurens. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
