Pauley Jr., age 77, of Grandview, WA went to be in the arms of his loving Savior on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Wayne was born on June 16, 1936 in Marysville, Kansas the son of Wayne R. Pauley Sr. and Nellie C. Scoville. He graduated from Marysville Kansas High School in 1954. Introduced by friends in 1955 he met the love of his life Donna Ehmen and they were married on February 3, 1957 in Beatrice, Nebraska. Wayne began working for Union Pacific Railroad as a conductor in 1956 and retired in 1996. He loved the beach, old cars and small air planes. He belonged to the Union Pacific Railroad Jr's Club and later joined the Old Timers Club. Wayne is survived by his wife Donna Pauley of Grandview, WA. Four children Laurie Higdon of Grandview, WA, Dave Pauley (Kathy) of Fall City, WA, Kent Pauley (Beth) of West Chester, PA and Brian Pauley (Randy) of FL. He is also survived by six grandchildren Amy, Nikki, Gregg, Jenna, Gwyn, Leah, four great grandchildren Adyson, Audrey, Nehemiah and Autumn and one brother, Roland Pauley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Nellie Pauley, two sisters, Nora Lee Pauley and Patricia Young. Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Burial will follow at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside.
