His funeral will be held Wednesday, March 9 at 10 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene in Miller. Burial will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery, St. Lawrence. Wayne William Miller was born August 7, 1917, in Milford, Neb., to Joseph and Elizabeth (Schweitzer) Miller. He married Mildred Rediger on December 12, 1937 in Milford. They farmed in Nebraska until 1950, when they moved to Gann Valley where they ranched and helped start the Miller Mennonite Church. They later moved to St. Lawrence in 1964 and to Miller in 1999. They have attended the First church of the Nazarene since the 1980's. Survivors include his wife, Mildred of Miller; one daughter, Mary E. (Robert) Nixon of New York, N.Y.; one daughter-in-law Penny Miller of Madison, Wis.; three sons, Russell W. Miller of Silver Bay, Minn., Rnadall C. (Marsha) Miller of Elkhart, Ind., and Jeffrey L. Miller of Laguna Niguel,Calif.; eight grandchildren, Scott Miller, Kelly Miller, Jordan Nixon, Timothy Nixon, Brian Miller, Mikke Miller, Kris Miller and Brooke Miller; and two great-grandchildren. He was prceded in death by a son, Herley Miller.
