He was taken to the hospital Monday and operated on for strangulation of the bowels. Wencel Miklas was born in Bohemia, August 1, 1868 and came to America twenty-four years ago, coming first to Iowa, but shortly removed to Dodge county where he resided until his death. He was taken to the hospital Monday and operated on for strangulation of the bowels. Wencel Miklas was born in Bohemia, August 1, 1868 and came to America twenty-four years ago, coming first to Iowa, but shortly removed to Dodge county where he resided until his death. He was married in 1897 to Antonie Bartosh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Bartosh, now of Kensal, N.D. He leaves a wife and four young children, three daughters and a son. Mr. Miklas was a very popular young man, well liked and respected by all who knew him, and his sudden death came as a great shock to all his friends.
