Description	:	Wilbur "Cap" Hinken of Waterbury, Nebraska, departed this life last Monday, February 17, 1975, at the hospital in Pender, Nebraska, following an illness of only a few days duration. H was 68 Years of age. Mr. Hinken was born on a farm near Waterbury, February 23, 1906. There he lived all his life. At a wedding service in Forsyth, Missouri, November 6, 1934, he was united in marriage to Miss Ruth J. Goertz. Read More	Wilbur "Cap" Hinken of Waterbury, Nebraska, departed this life last Monday, February 17, 1975, at the hospital in Pender, Nebraska, following an illness of only a few days duration. H was 68 Years of age. Mr. Hinken was born on a farm near Waterbury, February 23, 1906. There he lived all his life. At a wedding service in Forsyth, Missouri, November 6, 1934, he was united in marriage to Miss Ruth J. Goertz. They moved to the Hinken farm near Waterbury and there he farmed until his retirement in 1972. He served as a County Commissioner in Dakota County, Nebraska, from 1944 to 1948. Among those who survive his departure are: his wife, Ruth; his son, Roy; his five daughters, Pearl, Janet, Florence, Mary and Sharon; his 22 grandchildren and his three great-grandchildren; his two sisters, Fanny Leuhr and Almeda Hansen; beside other relatives and friends. His son, Harvey preceded him in death in 1962. The funeral service in his memory was at the Jack Becker Funeral Parlors, South Sioux City, Nebraska, Thursday, February 20, 1975, with Pastor David J. Roy, officiating. Interment was in the cemetery at Allen, Nebraska. Akron Register-Tribune, Akron, Iowa, February 27, 1975.
