Description	:	W Glenn Kirscher was born August 15, 1912, one of five children in Townsend, to William Guy and Edna Bull Kirscher. He died May 20, 1994 at Mesa Christian Care Center in Arizona at the age of 81, following a long illness. He graduated from Broadwater county High School. In 1936 He graduated from Montana State College At Bozeman in Dairy Industry, a member of Alph Gamma Rho Fraternity. He died May 20, 1994 at Mesa Christian Care Center in Arizona at the age of 81, following a long illness. He graduated from Broadwater county High School. In 1936 He graduated from Montana State College At Bozeman in Dairy Industry, a member of Alph Gamma Rho Fraternity. On December 8, 1940, Kirscher married Edith Agnes Ballard of Townsend, daughter of Lester and Clara Vaughn Ballard. They farmed and ranched in the Townsend area and also at Stevensville in the Bitterroot Valley for many years until finally ill health stopped his farming and he and Edith moved to Mesa, Arizona. He also served as an Army Sergeant in World War II in Air Chemical Warfare. He was a card-bearing member of Fort Owen Post 94 American Legion at Stevensville. His 48th year is 1994. Also he was a member of Victor Lodge 43, Master Mason,, in good standing. He was a member of East Mesa Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Mesa. Kirscher is survived by his wife, Edith; bother Ralph and Lois Kirscher of Oceanside, California; sister Betty and Bill Zabel of Grandview, Washington; sister Dorothy and Jack Zimmerman of Prescott, Arizona., and a sister-in-law, Barbara Kirscher Townsend, Montana. A brother, Joseph, died of cancer in 1973. A memorial service was held May 24 at East Mesa Christian Church with numerous friends and relative attending. Valley of the Sun Mortuary Chandler, is in charge of the cremation.
