Read More	Obituary published in Manchester Democrat Radio on February 24th, 1975 Title: Wilbur Falconer, 62, of Ryan Dies; Funeral Tuesday Wilbur Lawrence Falconer, 62, well known resident of Ryan, died suddenly at the family residence at 1:45 p.m. Friday. Mr. Falconer was born on a farm in Adams township on Oct. 16, 1912, the son of Charles E. and Adelaide Rainbird Falconer. He received his education in the rural schools in that area. He was united in marriage to Muriel Wade on April 13, 1932, and they farmed in the Robinson community until her death in 1958. On June 1, 1968, he was married to Irene Robinson in the Silver Creek Methodist church. They established their home in Ryan, where he was employed at the Ryan creamery and later operated the D-X service station in Ryan. He retired four years ago. Mr. Falconer is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Falconer of Ryan; one sister, Mrs. Opal Robinson of Lubbock, Tex., two brothers, Earl of Coggon and Wayne of Ryan; one half-brother, Kenneth Norris of Cedar Rapids, and one half-sister, Mrs. Garnet Main of Coggon. He was preceded in death by his first wife, his parents and one brother. Funeral services were originally scheduled today (Monday) but were postponed due to the snow storm until Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Silver Creek Methodist church, with the Rev. Danny Lemons officiating. Burial will be made in the Silver Creek cemetery. The Shelly funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
