Mr. McGrath was born at Victoria Beach, son of the late Samuel and Lillian Ellis McGrath. He was educated at Victoria Beach and worked all his life as a painter. He is survived by his wife, four sons, Darrel (stepson) of Acton, Maine, U.S.A.; Lloyd, of Toronto; Burton, Port-au-Choix, Nfld.; Curtis of Toronto; two daughters, Barbara (stepdaughter) and Geraldine (Mrs. Manning Banks) of Kingston, N.S. He is survived also by one sister, Doris (Mrs. Kenneth Brackley) Saint John, N.B., and three brothers, James and Curtis of Saint John, N.B. and Gerald of Montreal, Que. One brother Clifford predeceased him. Funeral services were conducted from Warren T. Roop Funeral Home on January 27, 1970 at 2 p.m. officiated by Rev. Duffet. Interment was in the family lot United Baptist Church, Torbrook. Pallbearers were Cecil Uhlman, Galen Parker, Lawson Bezanson, Clyde Neily, Phillip Johnson, and Albert Keddy.
