Description	:	Bio information written by his Daughter, Crystal: Wilbur was born in Union County and began his schooling at the Mt. Pleasant School. It was here he met his future wife. Soon after beginning school his parents moved to a farm just east of Alquina. He went to Alquina School until his sophomore year. He was told he would have to take Latin and he could not see the use for that language when all he wanted to do was farm, hence the end of school. He worked with his father and grandfather farming. It was here he met his future wife. Soon after beginning school his parents moved to a farm just east of Alquina. He went to Alquina School until his sophomore year. He was told he would have to take Latin and he could not see the use for that language when all he wanted to do was farm, hence the end of school. He worked with his father and grandfather farming. He also worked for Clifford Titterington hauling merchandise by horse and wagon from Lyonsville and Connersville. After he began driving, he would take Dr. Stanton Gordon on his rounds to treat the sick. Farming at first with horses, advancing to the machine age he never tired of tilling the soil. He was a quiet man, much like his Dad. He was a member of the Methodist Church, in fact helped with the building of the present Alquina Methodist Church. His heath began to fail because of his heart and realized he could no longer farm. He bought properties in Liberty for rentals, later selling them because of deteriorating health.
