Description	:	Wilda Marie Kerr Wilda Marie, daughter of Veryl and Beryl Kerr, was born on the home farm 6 miles west of Birmingham February 4, 1934 and died at the Jefferson county hospital, the morning of June 29, 1948, aged 14 years, 4 months and 25 days, the result of an accident during the night when her parents heard her moaning about 11 p.m. On investigation they found her lying at the foot of the windmill apparently having fallen from it while walking in her sleep. Read More	Wilda Marie Kerr Wilda Marie, daughter of Veryl and Beryl Kerr, was born on the home farm 6 miles west of Birmingham February 4, 1934 and died at the Jefferson county hospital, the morning of June 29, 1948, aged 14 years, 4 months and 25 days, the result of an accident during the night when her parents heard her moaning about 11 p.m. On investigation they found her lying at the foot of the windmill apparently having fallen from it while walking in her sleep. She was taken to the hospital at once and passed away in a short time. Coroner Harold W. Catcott was called to the home but no trace of what happened was found. She was a freshman in the Birmingham high school last year. The body was taken to Richland, Iowa, the undertaker, Morris Gould, being her uncle. She is survived by her parents, one brother, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Kerr and Mr. and Mrs. Irving Williams; and many other relatives in the community. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Birmingham Methodist church at 2 o'clock with the Rev. W. M. Doughty of Burlington, a relative, officiating. Burial in Zion Lutheran cemetery.
