Paul Sheetz, 75, died Sunday, January 8, 2006, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo. He was born Jan. 9, 1931, in Valley, the son of Andy Jacob and Florence Frank Sheetz. Sheetz. He was a graduate of Keota High School Class of 1949, He was a United States Air Force veteran. He married Carole Ann Grimes at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Keota on June 1, 1958. Paul Sheetz, 75, died Sunday, January 8, 2006, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo. He was born Jan. 9, 1931, in Valley, the son of Andy Jacob and Florence Frank Sheetz. Sheetz. He was a graduate of Keota High School Class of 1949, He was a United States Air Force veteran. He married Carole Ann Grimes at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Keota on June 1, 1958. They owned Adams Vacuum from 1975-1994. He was a member of BPOE Elks Lodge #575 and Eagles Lodge #595. He enjoyed golf, gardening, cooking and traveling in the United States and Europe. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Jim and Jerry; a daughter, Juli Eckles, all of Grand Junction, Colo.; five grandchildren; four sisters, Marjorie of Wayland, Naomi Wade of Marion, Pauline Cady of Keota and Jean Sparby of Chula Vista, Calif.; two brothers, Larry of Conesville and Jim of Kinross; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard, Roger and Raymond. A wake was held Thursday, January 12 in Grand Junction, Colo. with Military rites provided by the Grand Valley Combines Honor Guard, A private burial service will be held at a later date in Iowa.
