Decker in charge. Following the services, the body was taken to Norfolk for burial in the family lot at St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery. Pallbearers were William Tiedgen. W.B. Fuerst, Paul Schott, John Scheerger, F.C. Prauner and John Zohner, sr. Mrs. Nenow, nee Hille, was 83 years, 5 months and 12 days old. She was a child of four years when the Hille family joined the group of pioneers who left their Wisconsin home in 1866 to establish a settlement and church (St. Paul's Lutheran) at Norfolk. Here she was confirmed in this church and in 1883 was married to Herman Nenow. Leaving Norfolk in 1907, the Hille family lived at O'Neill, Neligh and Tilden, locating in battle Creek in 1920. The husband and father died here May 16, 1940, and Mrs. Nenow continued to make her home in Battle Creek until her death. Since 1920 she had been a faithful member of St. John's congregation. Surviving are two sons, Alfred and Adolph of Norfolk, and a daughter, Mrs. Ester Zohner of Battle Creek. One daughter died in early childhood. There are eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
