Description	:	Wilhelmina Helen Louise Baacke, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meinke, was born near Kramer February 17, 1902. There she grew up and became a member of the Lutheran church at that place. About two years ago she entered the estate of holy matrimony with Herman Baacke Jr. A short time ago, a little daughter was born to them, to the joy of parents, grandparents, and friends, none thought that this joy should be followed so soon by sorrow. The wife and mother became seriously ill. And the Father, who doth all things well, called her to her reward.... Read More	Wilhelmina Helen Louise Baacke, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meinke, was born near Kramer February 17, 1902. There she grew up and became a member of the Lutheran church at that place. About two years ago she entered the estate of holy matrimony with Herman Baacke Jr. A short time ago, a little daughter was born to them, to the joy of parents, grandparents, and friends, none thought that this joy should be followed so soon by sorrow. The wife and mother became seriously ill. And the Father, who doth all things well, called her to her reward. She passed away February 3 having attained the age of 18 years, 11 months, and 16 days. Everything possible was done to save the young mother. She received prompt medical attention but to no avail. She relapsed into unconsciousness Thursday morning and remained so till the end. She left to mourn her early departure her grief-stricken husband, a baby girl of three weeks, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meinke, and four brothers. Funeral services were conducted at the Lutheran church, Kramer, Sunday afternoon. The pallbearers were young married men of this community. Messrs. George Limbeck, Paul Limbeck, Henry Fangmeier, Ed Mundt, Will Hessheimer, and August Renner. Interment being made in the Lutheran cemetery. Source: The Crete News, February 10, 1921
