Description	:	Will Verlyn Teague, son of Lemuel Monroe and Avis Audrey Rowe Teague was born Jan. 5, 1913 at Early. He was baptized and joined the Early Presbyterian Church on July 21, 1929, transferring his membership to the Schaller Presbyterian Church in 1948. He attended school in Early graduating from Early High School in 1931. Will enjoyed sports and played basketball during high school. He was baptized and joined the Early Presbyterian Church on July 21, 1929, transferring his membership to the Schaller Presbyterian Church in 1948. He attended school in Early graduating from Early High School in 1931. Will enjoyed sports and played basketball during high school. On May 9, 1939 he married Geneva Parker of Wingo, Kent, at Storm Lake. Will worked as a farmhand for several years, renting a place in 1944 where he farmed until 1957. He also worked part time as a carpenter. Will was director of the country school Eureka #1 which was located two miles from the Teague home. In 1957, the family moved to Schaller. Will then worked for Sac County operating the county road grader (as had his father before him) until he retired in 1980. Will's hobbies included fishing, playing cards and reading. He enjoyed watching television, especially in his later years. On May 9, 1989, Will and Geneva were especially pleased to be able to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives. Geneva passed away on July 23, 1992, but Will was able to continue living in bis own home until he became ill and entered the Stewart Memorial Hospital at Lake City, on Friday, OCt. 20, 1995, where he passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1995. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife; a son-in-law, Randall Marston and a sister, Dorothy Burrows. Survivors include a son and his wife, Ed and Colleen Teague, Wall Lake; two daughters and their husbands, Betty and Larry Bailey, Schaller and Lexie and Art Tollufsen, Battle Creek; ten grandchildren, Jim and Pam Teague, Odebolt: Ron and Amber Teague, Lake View; Mary Teague, Kiron; Darla and Jeff Triplett, Omaha, Neb.; Dan and Theresa Bailey, Schaller; Scott Bailey, Schaller; Mike Bailey, Schaller; Jodi and Gary Matkosky, Ricketts; Toni Marston, Ida Grove; and Todd and Tammy Tollufsen, Battle Creek; twelve great-grandchildren, brothers, George and Betty Teague, Ames; Russell and Margaret Teague, Auburn; Cecil and Nelda Teague, Atlantic and Dudley and Janis Teague, Manhatten, Kan.; sisters, Marjorie and Henry Carver, Sioux City; Phyllis and David Hulsebus, Definance; Lois and Don Ellsworth, Sioux City; Naomi Shaeffer, Storm Lake, and Illetta and George Barclay, Sioux City; an aunt, Azure Rowe, Newton and a sister-inlaw, Allie Parker, Paducah, Kent.
