Services were held at Asbury United Methodist Church, Webster City, with Rev. A private family committal was held at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer. Willed Kenneth Anderson was born June 5, 1918 on a farm east of Stratford. He attended school at Stanhope and Stratford and graduated from Webster City High School in 1936. He started fanning with his father. In 1941, he married Virginia Goodell at Kamrar. The couple fanned northwest of Webster City. He retired in 1981 and they moved to Spirit Lake in 1992. They wintered in Zapata, Texas. He was a member of the Spirit Lake United Methodist Church; a former member of Duncombe United Methodist Church; a former trustee of Zapata United Methodist Church; a 4-H leader; a 25 year board member of the Highview and United Cooperative; former member of the noon Kiwanis; a former board member of the Washington Township School; and a longtime member of Webster City Men's Chorus. He loved music and sang in church choirs wherever he lived. Survivors include his wife, Virginia; sons, Kenneth and Don, both of Webster City, and Brian of Parker, Colo.; three grandchildren; brother, Grant Anderson, Webster City; and sister, Rosalie May of Princeton, III.
