ANDERSON, 79 Mrs. Ruth V. Anderson, 79, longtime Webster City area resident, died early this morning at Tompkins Memorial Health Center in Fort Dodge where she had been a patient for six months. The body will lie in state at the Foster Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Saturday, when it will be taken to the church. Ruth Victoria Bjorklund, daughter of Hans and Anna Bjorklund, was born May 28 1896, in Clear Lake Township, Hamilton County. She was reared and educated in the rural schools. On Dec. 20, 1916, she was united in marriage to Harry W. Anderson, and the couple resided on a farm in the Stratford area until 1933 when they moved to a farm in Fremont Township five miles northwest of Webster City. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1958. She then moved to Webster City to 1420 Prospect St., her home until six months ago when she went to the Tompkins Memorial Health Center. She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Willard K. Anderson and Grant H. Anderson, both of Webster City; and Mrs. William (Rosalie) Horan of Princeton, Ill.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and took part in the church organizations. She was a member of the Hamilton County Farm Bureau and the Senior Citizens Club.
