He was preceded in death by his parents;one brother,Willard;several aunts and uncles;one niece and two nephews.Survivors include his wife,Marilyn;children,Angela Holt and husband,Kevin,Hillboro,MO,Deanne Sackman and husband,Randall,Festus,MO,Tim Rutledge and wife Lisa,Hillsboro,Mo,Robin Bonds,St.Louis,MO,and Zach Rutledge and wife,Carissa,Mountain View,MO;siblings;Edna Touhill,Van Buren,MO,Luetta and Don Humphrey,De Soto,MO,Pat Rutledge,Mountain View,Jane and Fred Sanchez,California,Glen and Ethel Rutledge,Birch Tree,and Kathleen and Jim Burks,Mountain View;14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.Bill was employed by American Can Company in Pevely,MO for thirty years.He also served as funeral director/embalmer for Lemme and Mahn Funeral Homes in Festus,MO for twenty years.Bill was involved with Boy Scouts from 1965-2004.He was a Scoutmaster who prepared many Eagle Scouts.He was Master of AmVets in Antonia,MO for many years.He was also a Mason from 1964-present and efficient in five Lectures.Bill served the Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-day Saints for many years and held many offices in the church.He was an avid woodcarver.Visitation Friday August 12,2011,6;00-8;00 p.m. at Yarber Mortuary.Masonic Service,Friday August 12,2011,8:00 p.m.at Yarber Mortuary.Funeral Services Saturday August 13,2011,1:00p.m.at Yarber Mortuary;Interment Oak Forest Cemetery,Birch Tree,Missouri.
