Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 5, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Franklinville. Officiating, Rev. Steven Cox. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. W. A. was a native of Randolph County and owned and operated Ace Creative Concrete. He was an active supporter and fundraiser for Hospice and an active member of the Greensboro Elks Lodge. W.A. He was an active supporter and fundraiser for Hospice and an active member of the Greensboro Elks Lodge. W.A. "Ace" was not only strong in stature but also through his love of people and delighted in giving to others expecting nothing in return. He enjoyed golfing with his son Jonathan, game day at UNC, motorcycles, and made many friends along the way with his brilliant sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Moon Kirkman. Survivors: wife, Jeanette Ozment Kirkman, of the home, daughter, Kelli Kirkman, of Asheboro, and fiance, Robert Caviness , sons, Jonathan Kirkman, and wife, Allyson, of Randleman, Michael Williamson, of Greensboro, father, Ed Kirkman, of Franklinville, sister, Lorraine Routh, and husband, Tommy, of Franklinville, grandchildren, Reagyn Kirkman, Madison Williamson, Bradley Williamson, faithful companion and pet, Mimi. Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur, and other times at the home of Ed Kirkman, Academy Rd., Franklinville.
