Description	:	William A. Fyfe, Jr., 70, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Monroe, Nebraska, died Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 28, 10:00 A.M. at the Gass Haney Funeral Home with Rev. Murry Jay Johnston officiating. Interment will be in the Okay Cemetery, rural Monroe, with military honors by the Monroe American Legion Swanson Post 322 Honor Guard. Bill was born July 5, 1946, in Columbus, Nebraska, to William and Ruth (Fellers) Fyfe, Sr. He entered the U.S. Navy on September 14, 1964 and was honorably discharged on September 13, 1968. Bill returned to Monroe where he lived most of his life before moving to Houston ten years ago. While in Monroe, Bill was a truck driver for many years. He was married to Carlene Wagner. Bill loved to tell stories about his time on the road and loved to be around his family and friends.
