Description	:	William "Bud" Arthur Bidle was born to Arthur and Laura Ann Gossage Bidle in Stony Point, California 25 June 1879. He had an older sister, Bertha Mae. He came with his parents to Washington Territory prior to 1885 and is registered as a Washington Pioneer. He married Mary Edith Cunningham in Albion, Washington 4 June 1903. Bidle, 91, pioneer resident of Albion, was held at the L. L. Bruning funeral chapel in Colfax Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Elmer Church, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in the Colfax cemetery with the Maxonic Lodge officiating. Born June 25, 1879, at Petaluma, Calif., he came to the Albion area as a young man and farmed for several years near Shawnee. He married Mary Cunningham in June of 1903. He then farmed on a stock ranch near Whitebird, Idaho, for several years before returning to Albion to farm and to operate a butcher shop. He then moved to the Lewiston Orchards where he worked for Nez Perce Tractor Co., and also in irrigation. In 1965, he returned to Albion to make his home. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Methodist church. Mr. Bidle died Saturday at the Palouse Nursing Center in Colfax. Surviving are three sons, Loren, Albion; Walter E., Olympia; and Robert W., Alameda, Calif., eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two great grand children.
