Description	:	William B. Myers was born in Fulton County, Illinois, on December 24, 1860, and passed away at his home just north of Seward on May 5, 1933, aged 72 years, 4 months and 12 days. He is the son of John and Rachel Myers and was one of a family of five boys and two girls. He was married on September 7, 1913, to Mrs. Matilda Marr of Kansas City, Kansas. Myers was born in Fulton County, Illinois, on December 24, 1860, and passed away at his home just north of Seward on May 5, 1933, aged 72 years, 4 months and 12 days. He is the son of John and Rachel Myers and was one of a family of five boys and two girls. He was married on September 7, 1913, to Mrs. Matilda Marr of Kansas City, Kansas. He came to Seward in June 1875. His mother made her home with him until her death, at the old homestead where he has resided for 58 years. He is survived by his wife and two stepsons, Clifford Marr of Kansas City and Verne Marr of Seward and by five grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Jesse Myers of Fullerton and Henry Myers of Cushing. He became a Christian when about 21 years of age and was one of the early members of the Seward U. B. Church. He was a consistent Christian and member of the church and usually was in attendance when health in recent years permitted. He had a very large circle of friends and acquaintances. C. A.
