McKinney, a well known farmer of Mayfield, N.C., died several days ago at his home after an illness of about a week of pneumonia. He was 65 years of age and was born in Rockingham County, N.C. He was a Confederate Veteran, having served throughout the struggle. He was a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by several brothers and sisters ands the following children: Messrs. R. A.
