"Sally" (nee Wilson, who was a widow, last name of Lodge, when she wed him) were divorced by the time of his death. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The following obituary was published in the Delaware Coast News on 3 March 1933, page 1: WILLIAM WRIGHT BURIED ON MONDAY AFTERNOON IN LEWES Mr. William Wright, aged reclause [sic] who lived alone for many years in a small houseboat on the banks of the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal at Lewes, died on Saturday afternoon. His death was caused by heart trouble. Mr. Wright died at the home of his brother-in-law, Mr. Benjamin Wilson. He had been in ill health for the past several months. The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sally Wright, and four children, namely: George Wright, of New York City, and John Wright, of Lewes [those two children by Bill's late first wife]; Mrs. Reba McCrea, of Lanola, N. J., and Mrs. Carrie Megee of Philadelphia. The funeral services took place on Monday afternoon from the funeral parlors of William T. Atkins & Son in Lewes and interment was made in the Lewes [Bethel] M. E. [Methodist Episcopal] Cemetery. Rev. William D. Wilson, pastor of the Groome Memorial M. P. [Methodist Protestant] Church officiated at the service.
